Sara lives in Dallas with her attorney husband, Jon, daughters Sloane and Margot, and lab Kelly Kapowski.  She earned her Bachelors of Interior Design from Texas Tech and has worked in the commercial and high-end hospitality design industry.  After her first daughter was born, she decided to concentrate on the residential realm, and founded Sara Platt design.
